AWANA is a weekly program that helps teach kids about Jesus by introducing them to the Bible through fun and interactive learning, games, and scripture memorization.
How Does the Awana Program Work?
Here are just some of the exciting ways that Awana kids grow in their relationship with Jesus.
Scripture Memorization
Kids are challenged to memorize Bible verses in an effort to grow their relationship with Jesus and learn more about the Bible. With each group of verses they learn, awards are earned through the Awana program.
Peer Interaction
Awana kids are grouped together based on their age and grade. These fun and interactive classroom settings help kids to learn more about Jesus in ways that are relatable and engaging.
Engaging Bible Lessons
Each week, Awana kids have the opportunity to learn about the Bible from our crew of amazing adult volunteers and teachers. These Bible lessons are fun, interactive, and challenge kids to grow in their relationship with God.
Fun and Games
Everything from tag, to dodgeball, to races, keep kids active and having fun. Playing games and fun activities are a part of building relationships with their peers.
