What To Expect on Sunday Mornings
A typical service lasts about 90 minutes, from start to finish, and is filled with music, prayer, a time of learning, and lots of people who are excited to meet you. We've got safe and fun services for kids of all ages as well as different classes after the service for people who want to dive in a little deeper. Oh, did we also mention we've got free coffee and donuts for you!!
growing where planted.
Do you have anything for kids?
Absolutely!! We've got stuff for children of all ages. Nursery is available for kiddos up through 4yrs. old. For children age 5yrs.-5th grade, we've got a special program, affectionately called "kid church," for them that dismisses after our time of music. For students grades 6th-12th grade, we love to find ways to include them in our adult service, either by helping to run our programming, playing in the worship band, serving in a classroom, or just hanging out in the service.
What's the music like at church?
Each week we like to bring a mix of everything from newer, modern worship music to traditional hymns, and everything in between. Whether it's a full band bringing tons of energy or a simple singer with a guitar keeping it subdued, we strive to create an environment that truly brings people closer to Jesus through the gift of music. Check out our Spotify playlist to see what songs are on this Sunday!
Where should I park?
Parking is pretty simple at Strasburg Community Church, since there's only one lot to park in. If it's your first time with us, then grab a spot in one of our visitor parking spaces, located at the front of the lot. Handicapped accessible parking is also available as well as an easy-to-use driveway that drops you off right at the front door. We're excited to have you, just watch out for Frank when you pull in to the lot. Oh, Frank's not a person...it's just a pesky pot-hole in the middle of the lot. We really need to get that fixed.
